The 2021 Spring Classics collection is themed around the idea that our designs, the Hummingbird & ‘You Are On Native Land’, have become tools that our community has used to further their indigeneity, whether in solidarity or in reconnecting/continuing a culture. This blueprint was created with the intention to outline what the saying ‘You Are On Native Land’ can mean at its most basic interpretation word-by-word.
YOU - The viewer of this design
ARE - Confirmation of your current state
ON - Indicator of current location
NATIVE - Original

FAQ: Is it ok for non-Indigenous people to wear 'You Are On Native Land' products.
A: YES. It is a sign of solidarity to wear it and it makes space for Indigenous people in everyday life.
Our ‘You Are On Native Land’ design was created in 2018 to remind people that we are all on Indigenous Land. The idea came from living in Yelamu Ohlone Territory (San Francisco, CA). We were walking down the busy streets of San Francisco filled with tech folks and people who were not aware of the original people who continue to live in and around the Bay Area.
